The Story of
Life Tabernacle
Life Tabernacle as a church congregation began
in the middle of the 1970s under the leadership of pastor and founder Rev. Lloyd Williams. These humble beginnings would prove to be a sufficient foundation for what God had in store in the future. It was not long after their early beginnings that they acquired a parcel of land at 1644 Hanwell Road near the Hanwell Mini Home Park and the congregation began construction on their church sanctuary. Although there have been changes over
time the congregation still presently meets at that location.
Life Tabernacle has always been interested in making
a contribution not only to the quality of life of its members
but also to the city of Fredericton and the world. The church from
its beginnings has had an interest in bringing ministry to
its adults, the young and those outside the walls of the church.
Life Tabernacle has made contributions to missions efforts
in foreign lands and at home. It also has demonstrated a
concern for those unfortunate and forgotten by society.
Its members try to share God's love with who ever they can.
Life Tabernacle has had three Pastors In its over 30 year history: Rev. Lloyd Williams from 1976 to 1991, Rev. Terry Messer
from 1991 to 2017 and Pastor L. Robert Hanson from 2017 to the present day. In these years of Christian service,
the Life Tabernacle congregation has nurtured many
men and women into active Christian service in North
America and around the world. The Life Tabernacle
Congregation will continue to contribute to the quality of
life of its members and the community it is called to serve.
